Meet Ivinson's new Clinical Supervisor of Ambulance Services.

Dylan Dunn is helping lead the development of Ivinson Memorial Hospital’s new transfer service as clinical supervisor of ambulance services. With a decade of EMS experience, Dylan brings leadership and expertise to this growing program.

As a Laramie native, Dylan returned to his hometown to join the Ivinson team in February 2025. Prior to joining the Ivinson Team, he worked as a lieutenant paramedic with Banner Health Paramedic Services in Platte County for nearly nine years. He also most recently spent time in West Texas, working with a critical care EMS agency. His background includes caring for patients in high-acuity settings and providing advanced transport care, including ventilator support and blood product administration.

In my current role, I feel a great sense of pride every day,” Dylan said. The small victories and achievements while helping to build our department from the ground up will ultimately lead to an incredible ambulance service here at Ivinson Memorial Hospital.

Since arriving at Ivinson, Dylan has made a strong impression on his team.

Dylan is a valuable addition to the team,” said Margot Carr, clinical educator and project manager of the interfacility transfer program. He brings a strong background and valuable insights that enhance the program.”

What Dylan appreciates most so far is the people that he works with.

The employees and culture here really stand out,” he said. Everyone goes above and beyond to help both me and our patients.”

Though he once dreamed of becoming a commercial pilot, Dylan said his purpose has always come back to service.

I discovered pretty early on that my life was meant to be spent helping others. That’s why I’m incredibly proud to call myself a paramedic.”

Outside of work, Dylan like to spend his time outdoors hiking and camping with his dogs. While at home, he enjoys small renovation and DIY projects. Dylan is also multilingual, fluent in French and conversational in Spanish and German.

As the transfer service continues to grow, Ivinson is currently welcoming applications for paramedics interested in joining a team focused on clinical excellence, teamwork and meaningful impact. To learn more or apply, visit ivinsonhospital.org/careers.
